ABOUT US: Asheville musician and teaching artist Ryan Glass (known to local littles as Mr. Ryan) is the creator and facilitator of What’s Shaking? Music — a pre-K music/dance/theatre curriculum. He’s been sharing his poems, songs and classes with Buncombe-area preschools and kindergartens since 2013.
A What’s Shaking? Music and Dance Party is an interactive family concert event, featuring Mr. Ryan and the What’s Shaking? Band! The audience joins the live band in call and response games, sing-a-longs, the shaking of shakers, movement and dance, and a Drum Jam! (featuring the many drums and percussion instruments we provide) Magical Musical Experiences Guaranteed!

What’s Shaking? Music brings its music & dance party to your house, school, back yard, or neighborhood park. Shows are customized for children ages 1-10 years (but are enjoyed by anyone with a child in their heart).
We provide drums and shakers so everyone is a part of the band, as well as scarves for movement, dance, and dress up.
What’s Shaking? Music can perform as a solo act, a duo, or a full band, depending on your party needs.
